Not all good things last. Right. Because however beautiful and fun and interesting Emergency Couple is, the final episode would surely come. 21 episodes yet it feels like it is not enough and I want more.  The journey of the Oh couple from being divorced, estranged and meeting again as interns in the hospital is something that made a viewer like me join the ride and follow them waiting for that moment when love would rekindle. It is not all romance, there are tough situations, there were Ah Reum and Chief Gook to make the story more interesting. I found myself giggling at some funny moments between Chief Gook and Oh Jin Hee, hyperventilating on their chemistry. Ah Reum is not the typical second lead who sometimes makes me cringe or hate but she was sweet and rational and understood where Oh Chang Min's feelings are. I also love Shim Ji Hye, the lovely doctor at the side, always smiling charmingly and seemed amused of Chief Gook's predicament but inside just hiding ...

I do love this song. This has been my favorite from since the first time I heard it playing in the back ground of the drama, the original sound from Lee Jeong Hee. But now Choi Jin Hyuk has his own version of the song and it is as good as the woman's version. How talented is he? This one is a bit slow compared to the original version. The song is about realizing one's love to another person too late. Chincha, Choi Jin Hyuk has a nice voice. Check out the video.

Episode 9 can't come soon enough for me this weekend and this is a revelation! Last week I found myself looking everywhere for episode 8 with subs and felt frustrated when there was none to be found. The whole day, I was refreshing every streaming sites, waiting magically for the awaited episode to appear. Feeling my excitement dashed away I realized that the drama became addicting for me. I still remember the first time I wrote my impression,  Ridiculously Funny Yet Intriguing   . I never thought I would stick around and find myself eager for weekends to come just to watch this drama. I am the kind of viewer who can let episodes pile up if at first the show is kind of a mess and chaotic just like the characters of Oh Jin Hee and Oh Chang Min. These two gave me moments of insanity and "are you kidding me" scenes that I thought I would let this one sit for awhile and just peek and watch when there's nothing to do. A new drama premiered via tvN this Friday Jan. 24, 2014. Emergency Man and Woman , a new romance/comedy. Choi Jin Hyuk and Song Ji Hyo played a couple who married young but divorced only after a short time. A drama that I anticipated because Choi Jin Hyuk is the lead actor. Actually, he captivated me during his role as Kim Won in The Heirs as the older brother of Kim Tan played by Lee Min Ho. After the drama ended, I hoped for his own lead role and thankfully, I did not wait for along time. First impression? Hmmm....I know there will be funny scenes just by watching the teasers, yet still surprised how ridiculously funny most of the scenes are. The petty fights, the endless arguing, the foul mouth degrading of a husband to his wife, the arrogance of the resident doctor to his interns, the chaos, all these scenes are mostly cliches' in a typical Korean drama that I find absurd and outrageous and sometimes unbelievable yet at the same time intrigued to know more.
