Expectedly, the writer and the Pdnim [director] delivered an awesome ending to season 1 of The Three Musketeers. The epilogue is unforseen, though. The scene where the three musketeers and Park Dal Hyang stood on stage facing bandits was a perfect ending, but as the credits rolled up on the screen, the villain Hyang Sun is alive and there she was meeting Ja Jeom. Epic words came form her mouth as she announced to him to make her the King's woman! The twist is going to be daebak for season 2. And I just can't wait for it. Well, before I add more thoughts on possible scenarios for next season, I must first share my thoughts on the finale this season. Not that I am pessimistic on the outcome of the story but because I have no idea where it will go considering the writer is good in bringing surprises each episode.
