Healer: Young Shin and Bong Soo - The Pieces Has Fallen Into Place
This is of course a late reaction from last week's amazing episodes. Back to back I was treated to two awesome episodes that were heart stopping and edge of the seat gripping as Healer aka Bong Soo or Seo Jung Hoo was wounded in a fight with Double S gang and just had enough time to escape them, thanks to his teacher Ki Young Jae who suddenly appeared when he needed him the most.
Of course, Young Shin finding out what really happened to sweet Bong Soo was a shocker. He was lying still with blood all around him, unconscious. She was confused and surprised and also frightened for him. She called 119.
At the hospital, she tried to wake him up. Her thoughts were running to different directions. Something tells her something is definitely suspicious about Bong Soo. Why was he hurt? What really happened?
And when she held his hands, when he responded to her touch, she was reminded of the other times she was also held by Healer's hands. It felt the same. It was like a de' javu. her suspicions grow but her mind could not process the whole thing. She was in between blank and conscious of the situation.
Yes, she found out as she went to his car and fish for some evidence that would piece together the things she remembers. And the star paper she herself did inside the telephone booth was in a box inside his car. Whta was that thing doing inside Bong Soo's car? It was all puzzling for her. Her mind could not accept the possibility this evidence was presenting to her.
Bong Soo is Healer? The one who she talks about to Bong Soo? The one she has been waiting always? Was she lied to? All this while the man she likes is by her side!
I love this part where there was awkwardness between them. He somehow realized she finally found out about his secret. She knows who he is. And she is waiting for him. Patiently waiting for him but also getting angry as time passes by. There was not really confession on this scene but their actions already spoke of what they are to each other. There is already mutual understanding that their feelings are the same. Young Shin is just waiting for him to explain when he thinks he is ready.
I love the execution of this scene. So simple, silent, full of feelings and longing at the same time. But then, it is not yet the right time to reconcile. Ah! Chincha!!! The tensed moment made me want to see them in each other's arms, but no, the PDnim and writernim teased me! As if saying, "you'll just have to wait as Young Shin is doing!"
The pieces has fallen into places. Bong Soo is Healer. When he was gone for almost a week without any communication, the ahjumma hacker contacted Young Shin. She found him and his secret place. He was there lying almost dead. She nursed him back to consciousness. She cooked for him, fed him. He wanted her to leave.
Thank you writernim for giving me a heroine who is strong headed like Young Shin. This is where I really need to see her not giving up on him even if he begged. She stubbornly stayed, softly touched his face and the awaited moment....kissed him on the lips. How could he not melt under that sweet and loving kisses she gave him? His wall broke down and he responded to her kisses. I think the entire kiss scene was done in perfect angle and enough time.
Ahmmm...am not a pervert but I did rewind the kiss part for about 3 times to see how Ji Chang Wook kissed Park Min Young back. And I was satisfied! LOL! Mianhae..I am beginning to ship this couple for the intense chemistry they have across the screens.
Well, the romance part of the story has finally move on. There are still some secrets left hidden but looking for more romance amid the political and betrayal part of the story.
Six more episodes of this amazing drama. The climax is yet to unfold.
As I write this thoughts tonight, new episode for this week has just ended. Excited to watch.
