Personally, I think this episode just showed how everything fell into place for all characters. I think that episode 15 could have been the last episode.

Anyway, it is still worth watching seeing how Hye Jin reached her dreams of becoming a writer for children's stories. It filled what's missing in her life. She found out her true passion and that is through writing stories. She found a place where she can be like one as she enhances her talent. The episode showed that Hye Jin was happy the whole time even though she is miles apart with Sung Joon. Through internet they can see each other, catch up on things about each other and even eat at the same time. Communication is not a problem for them. They stayed connected while doing their own individual work.

Time passed by quickly.

Ha Ri visited her. She too was attending school. She has moved on from the past and seemed happy with her life now. They talked. While eating, Hye Jin thought of Shin Hyuk when she was about to pick a pickled radish. True enough, it reminded her immediately of Shin Hyuk. He whispered it to her the last time he said goodbyes to her. She wondered how he is. Ha Ri remembered him as the guy who stayed at the hotel.

Hye Jin and her co writers received the finished product of their work. The books were delivered to them and they all felt joy seeing the copies. Everyone was happy turning the pages. Hye Jin turned the pages seeing her name in print as one of the writers. Dream come true.

Sung Joon could not be reached via phone. Hye Jin opened her laptop but he was not available. The last time she talked with him, he had a cold. Now she was concerned for his welfare. She was anxious every minute. Her thoughts were not on her work. It continued to think about Sung Joon.

When finally she got a call, she felt relieved. But then she was surprised to hear him say the color of her top. He was right there. He came.

She ran towards him despite the rain pouring. He met her halfway, laughing as she jumped on him and hugged him tightly. The reunion was sweet.

He is back in the country. He joined the MOST team as the new Deputy Chief Editor, because Ra Ra has found her one true love and now leaving her seat to him. The team was happy to see him back but then as always, when he is absorbed with what he reads, he mistakes his previous office as his when that is already occupied by Cha Joo Young.

One day, he gave out invitations to everyone. They were shocked when he announced he is getting married. When they opened the invitation, it was to Hye Jin. They thought Jackson was close to Shin Hyuk but apparently, she will get married to their Deputy Chief Editor.

Ha Ri gave Hye Jin a bouquet of flowers for her wedding. The two went out together and spent the day. They are an adorable pair. I love the story of friendship in this drama. So positive and very endearing.

Before I wrapped my thoughts, I was waiting for Shin Hyuk to appear again in Hye Jin's life even if to say hi and hello or congratulate her and Sung Joon for the wedding. But my hopes were not granted. Yes, he appeared in this last episode only to show that he is okay, he is travelling while writing and that he is using the beanie he put on his head while making Jackson pay for it. It was his memory of Jackson and their happy times. It's nice that he kept it as a sign that he really cares for her. Her memory must be something he will treasure. He came back, looking at the building, remembering the things he did with Hye Jin, how they started to be friends. All these with a smile on his face.

Thank you writernim for this short minutes of Shin Hyuk in episode 16. It was not really necessary but you understood the viewer's feelings. You let us who loved Shin Hyuk to still see him and together with him reminisce the good times spent with Jackson. His Jackson. Ah, I miss his voice calling her that way. And his animated face.

The wedding was not really shown. But both Hye Jin and Sung Joon in their bride and groom dress reflected their happiness for this day.

They settled as a couple. Hye Jin busy with her work, neglecting Sung Joon or should I say, ignoring his cute antics to get her attention. They are simply happy.

The end of the story showed Sung Joon with a little girl who looked like Hye Jin with curly hair and saying exactly what Hye Jin say when the stop light turned green as in GO.

I think the episode ended well. The story ended in a happy note. Everything in place.

I may have not gotten my preferred OTP but I can say that Sung Joon and Hye Jin suits each other. First love has a way of making a romance even more memorable.
