[mslee's thoughts] BLOOD Week 4 Review - Episodes 7 and 8

Image
EPISODE 7 Highlights: Lee Jae Wook's plan to reveal his true identity to Park Ji Sang was accomplished. His way was to make it appear as if he was helping him against vampires who wished harm on him. Of course, he had to kill those vampires in order for Ji Sang to believe him. Ji Sang was surprised that the Director is also infected. Jae Wook's claim of course was  half truth because he did not tell him about knowing Ji Sang's parents. JI Sang was supposed to trust this vampire who killed his parents. But I like that although Ji Sang seemed to believe Jae Wook, there were many questions running inside him. Like how Jae Wook's body temperature is the same as human. He found out that he is drinking blood he processed,  without red blood cells. Basically, it is Jae Wook's diet. He claimed that no innocent lives were harmed. The blood were imported from outside the country. Then he happened to discover thrugh experiments a certain chemical that he injects once in...

[mslee's thoughts] Pinocchio Episode 17 Review - It's Never Too Late To Reveal The Truth

Image
This is my first post on this drama although I have followed with eagerness every episode each week the progress of the story. I have always wanted to share some thoughts on the development of the drama but never got to writing it. Just a short rewind... going to episode 17 This is a story about hiding the truth even to the extent of destroying a family. A dedicated fireman became the scapegoat of the fire that killed his fellow firemen on duty while his body could not be found. While people were too occupied to put the blame on them, the truth of the story was diverted, the true culprit on the tragedy that happened remain unknown. Except reporter Song Cha Ok who further ignited the people's hatred and Park Ro Sa, a businesswoman who acted as the bridge for the faceless Senator involved. ...

[mslee's thoughts] Final Thoughts : It's Okay It's Love Review

Image
Moments from It's Okay it's Love I will start from episode 13 where realization hit Hae Soo hard, There was denial, because it is not easy to accept the fact that Jae Yeol, the man she learned to love has a mental illness [schizophrenia] that needs immediate medical care. Seeing the evidence from the video recorded via CCTV of Jae Yeol fighting alone with himself or with an invincible person that he calls Kang Woo is a heartbreaking scene for her. It was concluded in this episode that the mother has dissociative identity disorder, which came from the trauma she suffered when she burned the house that caused the death of her husband. It is sad that this family had undergone so much pain and violence in the past and not undergone medical attention. Times passed as they all three coped with their trauma and the guilt they have towards one another. The betrayal Jae Beom got from his brother was not understood that's why he lived in anger towards his mother and brother. ...
