Now We Are Breaking Up... My Kind of Kdrama

For a long time now I haven't been watching kdramas. I may watch one or two current dramas but usually I drop them at the middle. I don't know why I haven't been hooked by kdramas since last year. But I say there are a few that I try to finish just for the heck of it. It seems that even my favorite oppas and unnies of kdrama can not pull me to watch them like before.

I have been binge watching cdramas and enjoying them.

But recently like the other night I decided to start Song Hye Kyo's and Jang Ki Young's new drama Now We Are Breaking Up. And I am so glad I gave it a try! My kdrama addiction somehow once again was triggered! I am loving the drama. I believe the seriousness of the drama and melancholic atmosphere were reasons enough to make me anticipate the story unfolding. I love how the character suits Song Hye Kyo. And surprisingly Jang Ki Young make a great partner opposite Hye Kyo.

The story may not be that complicated. It is just a love story made complicated. Still, it is being told in a way where viewers like me can feel the character's emotions and their inner conflicts. I tear up when FL becomes emotional and frustrate when she feels helpless. Personally I like Song Hye Kyo in this kind of role. I think she is best when playing serious characters without the unnecessary comedic scenes.

I am waiting just patiently for next week's new episodes. And this is what I should feel again watching kdramas.😍

So yes... I'm back watching kdrama again😊 and enjoying and anticipating again🥰.
