Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung in A New MBC Drama Soon

At last my wish will be granted soon. A new drama for Joo Sang Wook with Lee Min Jung as his lead partner. A few more weeks and it will air via MBC on it's Wed/Thurs time slot replacing Miss Korea. Interesting synopsis, too. 

The title of the new drama is Cunning Single Lady. Based on the title, Lee Min Jung will play a role that I have yet to watch. I'm already intrigued on how far she will go to show and get her agenda. I have always loved seeing Joo Sang Wook on the screen. He has this certain charisma he exudes whether he smiles or frowns. I am happy that he will play the lead role again because he really is a good actor.

Plot

Ae-Ra (Lee Min-Jung) is focused on her appearance as she believes it will lead her to a better life. She then meets Jung-Woo (Joo Sang-Wook) who studied engineering. They eventually get married, but they also get divorced. After their divorce, Ae-Ra goes through difficult times. Unlike Ae-Ra though, Jung-Woo becomes a successful IT developer and very wealthy. Now, Ae-Ra tries to seduce Jung-Woo to marry her again.

Honestly, I was not so eager to watch the final 2 episodes. Why? Perhaps I know the story is nearing it's end and there'll be no more Secrets to look forward to next week, Why do great dramas end so fast? Hmmm...sighing here. this is somewhat long... Finally I am writing my thoughts on episode 23. Even in this last episode, the King never took time to understand the heart of Prince Gwang Hae. It was so easy for him to think that Prince Gwang Hae will take his seat away from him. Yes, Gwang Hae admitted thinking of being a King but it does not mean he has a mind that could be accused of treason. Prince Gwang Hae advised his father that it should be the people he must worry about and not his face because what happens to the lives of the people makes a King's face. The King has not had the face of a king until now because he lacked the understanding and the heart of what his duty entails. His people are not happy and still suffers that's why those transcend to him as the King who over looks on them, giving him the face of not suited to be King.
