Battle for Ratings Are Still On for Shark and Empire of Gold - The Latter Finally Succeeding

Well, I have to be honest, I love these two dramas for their own individual story line. I like how Shark has made viewers always on the edge of their seats while watching, thus making it to number two spot for the past weeks. [my own opinion, it should have gone right to the top spot, but then guess younger actors have their own charisma, no offense meant here]

But then here comes Empire of Gold with a new kind of drama that easily connects to it's viewers like me also. The drama though started 3rd on the spot against two other dramas, [GOF and SHARK] I know it will slowly but surely claimed a good spot as the drama progresses. Though I don't even care about who goes on top over the other, because I watch for what they give me which is entertainment, I'm curious as well to know if SHARK will contain it's lead over EOG.

Last night's episodes found EOG pushing SHARK to third spot and claiming the 2nd spot, yet still tailing GOF.

[Ratings: Mon, 07.22.13] ‘Shark’ Falls; ‘Gold’ Picks Up

CJ E&M enewsWorld

Look carefully on the ground, because there’s gold to pick up.

SBS’ Empire of Gold burst into double ratings, pushing KBS’ Shark to place last on Monday night. While the difference isn’t too great, the fact that Empire of Gold escaped third place is still a great feat.

It’s also not too far off from reaching first, with MBC’s Goddess of Fire Jeongi only at 11.7 percent.

Now, all three records are pretty below par, but the competition is still keeping everyone on their toes since any of the three dramas can switch spots at any time.
