Episode 7

Kim Seok Joo representing Jung Hye Ryeong in a murder case became a big news. Everyone who knew about the previous case could not believe he will help her. Some concluded it is about guilt. His colleagues in the office are all astounded especially when Park Dong Hyeon's father got mad at Cha Young Woo and pulled out all the cases they have with the firm. They are blaming Seok Joo and questioning Cha Young Woo's nonchalant attitude through it all. Cha Young Woo is still keeping his thughts to himself. But I think he is weighing everything in his mind about Seok Joo and his decisions recently. He is still keeping his memory loss in the office. He still does not want to let go of Seok Joo. He is just taking everything in and watching from a distance how the events will unfold. Where Seok Joo will go with his decisions.

He tried to persuade him to let go of the case and just find another lawyer who is suited and have the capability to carry on with the case. But Seok Joo insisted to stay. It is also a pro bono, meaning free, no professional fee. While Team Leader Kang is dismayed he could not do anything. It is Cha Young Woo's decision. I think Cha Young Woo is also a bit cunning in his own way. While not really succumbing to the demands of the clients who are pulling off their cases, he is also securing sensitive files they have of their clients. I think this is a subtle way of letting them know that he can also play dirty or maybe follow Sek Joo's way of turning around if they need to. Quick thinking there od Cha Young Woo. After all, they hold all the confidential files, they have nothing to worry about.

The court trial is interesting. For a lawyer of Seok Joo's caliber, it was like a walk in the park. He had secured most of the vital evidence needed to prove there is no proof of guilt or the evidence of the prosecutor is weak. He was able to persuade Young Ah, the girl who was forced to abort her child, to testify. He was able to solve the mystery of the screaming woman in the phone conversation of the neighbor. It was the drama on the TV that particular day and time that was being heard and recorded. Coincidence that Jung Hye Ryeong was the actress in it. He was able to secure a CCTV footage and waited for other CCTV cameras to be fixed to get a tuned timing in each frame. He was also able to show the court what happened between Park Dong Hyeon and Jung Hye Ryeong that day when he had grabbed her by the arm using his right hand which has her DNA in his nails. For my understanding it showed that she never struggled with both her arms, only one arm getting away from him. I think this is vital because it never prove that she struggled with him that led to a manslaughter. 

Seok Joo won the case. I think by this time, he may have not yet recovered his memory but he somehow already found out what he was and what seems to be more important now when it comes to defining what's right and wrong. Morally, he is acknowledging what should be. But he stays the arrogant and sometimes selfish man who does not care with anyone's opinion about him. I think, this is the real Seok Joo. And that is his charm.

Ji Yeon and Seok Joo are becoming more comfortable with each other. They worked well together. 

Seok Joo went to visit his father in the hospital and stayed for a couple of hours. The old man saw him and asked him to go. Still he remained courteous and promised to be back. 

The ending of the episode is unexpected. A beautiful and sophisticated woman just walked in inside the firm. Cha Young Woo and Seok Joo saw her but Seok Joo remained clueless, just stared as he walked passed by. Cha Young Woo hurriedly and silently let him know who is the visitor.Yoo Jung Sun, apparently Seok Joo's fiancee!

Hmmm...this is fascinating and intriguing at the same time. How will Seok Joo handle this new information and this woman. Is there love between them? What about the intern Lee Ji Yeon? Another love triangle, surely? Oh, but I will root for the rookie and her refreshing personality that brings out some kind of reaction to Seok Joo. Well, Jung Sun can be a good match too. We'll see.
