[mslee's thoughts] Amid Rumor of Scandal Dating. What's Going On Here? and WGM Preview #JjongAh Stills from Ep 34

I was only going to post preview still of uri couple in WGM because tomorrow is a new episode but then rumors from late last night appeared in the internet and fans became uneasy as well as confused for only a short while as they bounced back from being sad to reinforced support not only for our OTP but particularly to Hong Jong Hyun who is the center of the rumor.

Okay, before I rant...well write some thoughts on the rumors that were already denied by both Nana and HJH's agencies, but then new "interview from an unknown source" again flaming the rumors that just only got subsided, makes me really question the motives....

I will first share the photos of the coming episode in WGM.

Let's smile through this as we take a look at this stills that were taken or filmed sometime at the end of December, just around the time of the MBC Entertainment Awards.

This should be scripted of course, but only what they were supposed to do. But the actions itself were genuine as they were themselves in the show that shows what married life is.

Of course, this can be faked, but I don;t think that their familiarity and actions towards another are fake. They do enjoy the moments and up until the MBC Ent Awards night that we have all watched and of course, I posted some screen caps and photos from various fans and sources, we have seen how they were that night. I think the episode will be next to this one showing what they did during the night's award. The "kiss" they showed as a couple in front of the press as other couples smiles and looked at them, the touch, how he guided her all through the night with his arms on hers, how they hugged when both got their awards and more.

I think this episode will have a blast tomorrow, that is if no new "rumors" or "facts" affect the show. Unless Jjong confirmed the rumors, then our couple would have a good show tomorrow for people will be curious to see this. But let's just remember that this was already filmed last month and so far, there were no troubles.

Now into my thoughts about this rumor.

Suddenly, without any premonitions, this rumor surfaced at around almost midnight, messing around the internet for all fans and haters to see. The agencies of both involved in the dating scandal were surprised. Even Jjong's new agency was not able to make a statement regarding this because our Jjong is out of the country. What a way to surprise the netizens with this scandal!

Nana who I like and Jjong who I came to know through WGM is in a scandal dating rumor. They were on a show before. Both are models. Circles of friends may be the same. This is what binds these two.

But the irony of the situation was that when Jjong first sought his virtual wife, Yura [GSD] the person he contacted was Nana. The rumor has it they were in a relationship for 7 months so if this was true, I find it ridiculous and distasteful that Jjong would asked Nana to help him look for his "wife". It would be too harsh for Nana to be treated that way even of it meant she was supporting his career.

Then of course, Jjong must know that signing the contract for WGM would then agree to the terms and condition of the program and that is to stay single in the duration of the show. I think this would have been discussed strongly that time for the show should have by then learned from experience not to mess again and avoid dating scandals outside the program with others not involved in the show.

It is true that Jjong's popularity soared through this show. And I think he should have known it is not his alone's effort but because of his partner Yura who have been supportive of the program and been the one doing everything to make their chemistry work out. As a fan of the show, particularly their segment, I think Jjong's priority is towards his partner and not do anything that would compromise their careers or even their partnership on the program. It is ethical on his part to remain single even at least up until the show ended, for both their sake. Because anything scandals that would tarnish their chemistry would be their fall.

In earlier episode, Hong Seok Cheon guested in the show. He is one of the friends of Jjong. Remember how he dropped Nana's name on the show about "something" she has with Jjong? I want to believe that HSC only did it to make Ah Young jealous and secure herself as the "wife" of Jjong. I mean, let's face it, if it was intended to put doubt on anyone's minds that Nana is currently Jjong's girlfriend, it would be harsh on Nana to be dragged that way. It would certainly hurt Nana. But I think HSC's teasing was just that. Also, Jjong would not want it to be discussed if it was true then, to protect Nana. But when asked who Jjong likes, as Jjong, he pondered over it a long while because he is Jjong. He is friends with the other woman while he has a "virtual" relationship with Ah Young. For those who knew Jjong and how he transformed in each weeks episodes in WGM you would know him and what I am talking about.

So, last night, Nana's agency denied the claim and this morning, Jjong's agency also denied the claim. So far, it is settled, but no, someone wants to drag the issue for sometime more. A new article vua soompi claimed that an anonymous source has been interviewed and claimed that the dating rumor is actually a fact.

Okay, first, it came from no name, an acquaintance to be exact. 2nd, this acquaintance is not even a friend or close friends. 3rd, what was exactly his/her motives in involving in this rumor and saying this is a fact? If he or she is a friend of either Nana and Jjong, I think it would be called betrayal if there is truth in this. Yes, betrayal for nothing will be gained in telling this to the world, only making both Nana and Jjong liars after they both let their agencies deny the dating scandal rumor. Their careers will certainly be affected, mostly Jjong who happens to be enjoying his soaring popularity by now. It would definitely put a damp on his career. And how about his contract on WGM?  

Viewers are either harsh or supportive of a show and doubting the couple. JjongAh would make their segment badly affected.  The only one rejoicing in this rumor will be the haters and I think Jjong has been the focus of some bashers in the last weeks. Then of course, those who hate Yura will certainly ridicule her as his partner in the show,

I really hope Yura will not be hurt by this even if there really is nothing going on between her and Jjong. Let's face it, this is their show, and until it ends, they are the OTP. She has been working hard to make the fans happy. Her efforts are really tremendous and appreciated. But if this rumor is true, I think Jjong owe her an apology for making their "virtual" relationship be cursed or hated by fans.

I am looking at how Jjong will show his sincerity towards the viewers. Although the PDnim of WGM has already divulged that this rumor was from 2-3 months ago and they have already cleared this with Jjong by then, I really hope it will not affect the show. I trust that the PDnim honestly believed Jjong, thus showing their support in continuing the show for JjongAh. I also believed that during those 2-3 months ago, Jjong was cautioned again not to start in a relationship in the middle of WGM and that Jjong should have honored the contract and intelligent enough not to mess it. Jjong being Jjong, I should trust him to be cautious and not do foolish things. For what I saw of him, he is a bit calculating so again, this rumor may not really be true.

Fingers crossed!

Wow, this will certainly drag on until Jjong put on a statement himself regarding this. As for Ah Young, wish you well and hope you are okay. Despite the hate from people who have nothing to do but criticize her, I hope she lives in peace and happiness. I am looking forward to WGM's coming episodes that will tackle this issue and how Ah Young will handle the situation in the program. 

Yes, theirs is not true, only fictional marriage, still, they are themselves. Discussing this rumor in the show will give viewers some insights about friendship, about married life and mostly how Jjong and Ah Young's closeness will turn out.

Let us support the show until it last. Let's make JjongAh couple rise above the rumor together. let's hope for the best for them and their careers. Let's be happy while watching them. Let worries to the antis or haters.

Whatever the end maybe for these two...

I think I have shipped a million times and have been disappointed but then, I remain a fan of the individual persons involved. So for JjongAh I will remain a shipper until time lets me forget I once shipped them just like other couples I have shipped.
